World Water Day 3-22-2011

Today the world celebrates World Water Day. In honor of this global event Cirqua® has offered some links to places for everyone to learn about the importance of water and its effects globally.

NCA Centennial Convention: 2011 Celebrating 100 years

David Beeman and Skip Finley worked the National Coffee Association Convention, conducting teaching labs on water this happy March 17th-the 20th in beautiful New Orleans, LA. The convention was held this year at the Roosevelt Hotel and the weather was predicted to be beautiful for everyone visiting the city and the event. Considering this is the NCA’s celebration of 100 years, everything is going well and perfect for the event. Did you see our signs? “We make it taste great!” The signs were located in a few select spots as Cirqua handled all water needs for the four water lab classes’, cupping’s for classes, coffee stations and master brewing stations. David sent these photos from the show via his mobile phone!

Sold Out TED2011 event enjoys Cirqua® water

Today marks the end of the four day event, TED2011 “The Rediscovery of Wonder” program in Long Beach, California.

Intelligentsia Coffee and Tea, supported by Cirqua® Customized Water™, has been serving the best tasting coffee and tea to all the Ted2011 Event attendees.

The 2011 Southwest Regional Barista Competition starts today, Friday March 4th and Cirqua® Customized Water™ is there!

Sponsored by Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf Co., produced by SCAA and the Barista Guild of America, this is the fourth regional competition (there are six in total) and is open from 11:00 AM to 6:00 PM Friday-Sunday. The Barista’s in this competition will be using water provided by Cirqua® Customized Water™ ; Gabe Austin, National Sales Manager and Tracy Parks, Account Manager will be there helping to make the event water perfect.

This event is completely free to the public. There will be live music benefiting “Music Cares” (with a suggested donation of $5) with 3 full days of Barista Competitions, Food Trucks, Gourmet Beverages and loads of entertainment.

Free gifts (a $10 value) are offered to the first 100 attendees each day.

Held at Siren Studios, 6063 West Sunset Blvd. in Hollywood California, the winners from these regional competitions get the opportunity to move into the US National Competitions held this year in Houston Texas, April 28th -May 1st at the SCAA 23rd Annual Event.

New "Taste Test" video for The Formula™

Thank you to Gail and Kat from Seattle Gear Coffee; they not only added The Formula™ product to their Accessories Page to the Seattle Gear Coffee web site for purchase, they also did a "Crew Review" video of The Formula™ and posted the live unsolicited opinion "Taste Test" for all to see!
